I thought it was time to get over my last post about the jerks, put something productive here on my blog, and get on with life. So, here is something that I think is worthwhile to share with you.

Everyone likes free money. So, here’s a place you can actually get some. PayBox is a new online payment processor which is gearing up to give PayPal and AlertPay, among others, some competition. PayBox.me is in development and they are accepting “Early Bird” members to help them create the best payment processor available.

They give you an initial deposit of $50 when you sign up for a free account. Then you receive an additional $5 per referral AND up to $20 per day just for “staying active.”

Staying active means logging in, taking the weekly surveys, and just generally using the system. There are no withdrawals of the free money yet, nor or they allowing deposits from individuals. But they have just rolled out the person-to-person transaction. What that means is you can send money to other users, and they can send money to you. Nothing tangible really changes hands at this point, it’s all “on paper”. But if this rolls out as they expect, you should actually be able to use your money to make online purchases. As you can see that this has some potential. Will I ever really get to use that money? I think it looks very promising but we’ll have to wait and see. While I hope it all comes together, if it doesn’t, I won’t cry or gnash my teeth. After all, it is free money.
